Empowering Men Through Prevention Action Community Collaboration and Training (EMPACT)

EMPACT was created to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS, other sexually transmitted disease (STD) and hepatitis among African American males. EMPACT works to empower men, particularly African American MSM living with HIV/AIDS, through prevention education, training, and action. Through group and individual training, EMPACT seeks to change risky behaviors and habits while working to increase HIV awareness.

We provide condoms, safer sex kits and printed material about abstinence to the community. For more information about EMPACT, contact Dean Edwards, Program Manager at 803-779-7257.
