The Women’s Health Council Project (WHCP) offers HIV and STD preventon education and training to communities and populations of women. Participants attend fun and exciting group sessions and learn basic facts about HIV and sexually transmitted infections. The group sessions build skills to help prevent infection and transmission of HIV and other STIs.
The WHCP has created Women in Support of Empowerment (WISE) to help women take control in the fight against HIV. WISE women are armed with HIV prevention information and are ready to take a stand for the health of their communities.
WHCP and WISE are always looking for women who are interested in protecting their own health and the health of their communities. If you are one of these women or you know a woman who is, call us at 803-779-7257.
