PALSS provides Mobile Testing Services to increase access to vital health screenings throughout the community. By bringing testing directly to neighborhoods, campuses, and community spaces, we remove barriers to care and ensures individuals can learn their status in a respectful, confidential, and stigma-free environment.
Testing Services Offered
Through our Mobile Testing Services, PALSS offers testing for HIV, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Trichomoniasis, Syphilis, Hepatitis C, Hepatitis B, and COVID-19. Services may vary by event, but our team works to provide comprehensive screening opportunities paired with education and support. Testing is conducted by trained professionals who prioritize privacy, accuracy, and client comfort.
Who Mobile Testing Is For
Mobile Testing Services are available to anyone who wants to take a proactive approach to their health. Whether you are testing routinely, testing for the first time, or returning after a period of time, we welcome you without judgment. We intentionally serve communities most impacted by HIV and other health disparities while remaining inclusive and accessible to all.
What to Expect
During your visit to the PALSS Mobile Unit, our team will guide you through the testing process, explain what each test involves, and answer any questions you may have. Results are provided according to the test type, and all services are delivered confidentially. If additional care or follow-up is needed, our staff will help you understand your options and next steps.
Prevention, Education, and Linkage to Care
Mobile Testing Services at PALSS go beyond testing alone. Individuals who test HIV-negative can receive prevention education, safer-sex resources, and information about PrEP and other risk-reduction services. Individuals who receive a positive result are supported with compassionate linkage to medical care, insurance and benefits navigation, and ongoing support services.
Community & Campus Outreach
We partner with colleges, universities, and community organizations to provide Mobile Testing Services at health fairs, awareness events, campus programming, and community gatherings. These partnerships help ensure services are accessible, culturally responsive, and aligned with the needs of each population served.
